Our first Cameras That Care submission was shot by photographer Mari Banno. She chose Joe's Farm Grill in Gilbert Arizona for the location.
As a teacher, we look for opportunities for our students to engage in hands-on learning outside of the classroom. This is why Cameras That Care is such a valuable program. Mari is a senior here at Perry High School, and she plans to continue with photography after graduation.

Every shoot is a learning experience. In this particular shoot, I learned the importance of managing the time necessary to cover everything I planned for the day.
